I. CALL TO ORDER  
City Staff Attendance: Nina Hennkens, Katie Partise and Aaron Decker.  
Meeting called to order at 4:02pm

finish amendments, begin IBC Significant Changes per significant  
change book.  
Discussion of review of 2018 amendments and 2021 amendments.  
3 of 5 persons present for quorum.  
Nina began by pulling up the 2021 IBC Review notes from the previous review to begin  
looking at the amendments to chapter 31.  
3109.2 was brought up and discussed again. The topic of leaving the “2021” in front of  
the referenced book was vetoed and agreed to change language to “Current Edition”  
Mr. Decker clarified that the section 305 of the International Pool and Spa Code was  
excerpted from the edition and inserted into the City Ordinance as a requirement for  
barriers around pools. He also confirmed that there are no changes to this section of  
the code in the 2024 edition of the ISPSC code.  
3201.3 was discussed and approved to keep.  
3202.2.1 was discussed and approved to keep.  
3202.3.3 was discussed and approved to keep.  
3205.5 was discussed and needs to be reviewed to compare to UDC and Staff report  
back.  
3303.4 was discussed and approved to keep.

3313 was discussed and tabled to match the IFC review for their pertinent sections as  
well.  
Chapter 1 significant changes were reviewed and agreed to approve.  
Chapter 2 significant changes were reviewed and agreed to approve.  
Chapter 3 significant changes were reviewed and agreed to approve.
