A. Pedestrian Level of Comfort Map Update & Procedure  
a. Pedestrian Level of Comfort Map Update & Procedure

i. Map will be established by CBB and handed off to  
City GIS division; city responsible for any future  
updates  
ii.Update process and frequency will be defined later,  
project is ongoing

iv. Map is meant to be live - reflective of GIS layer  
updates  
Update could be just a policy or a formal process  
v.Map attempts to evaluate effectiveness of city  
infrastructure in terms of protecting  
pedestrians/bicyclists

Map is now a non-publicly facing tool to evaluate  
infrastructure and what improvements need to be  
made  
vii. Different map data/safety ratings for pedestrians  
and bicyclists  
viii. Pilot project selected route B, Business loop 70,  
Windsor St (for bike boulevard) and others

Montgomery County, near District of Columbia is  
currently using a similar map
