I. CALL TO ORDER

The City Council Subcommittee of Council Member Karl Skala and Council Member

Betsy Peters met on April 8, 2022 at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the City Council

Conference Room of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri.

Council Member Karl Skala and Council Member Betsy Peters were present.

This item is open to the public: Motion to immediately go into a Closed

Meeting in the City Council Conference Room to discuss the:

- hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees by a public

governmental body when personal information about the employee is

discussed or recorded pursuant to Section 610.021(3) RSMo; and

- individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or

records pertaining to employees or applicants for employment pursuant to

Section 610.021(13) RSMo.

At approximately 2:00 p.m., Council Member Skala made a motion for the City Council

Subcommittee consisting of only Council Member Skala and Council Member Peters to

immediately go into a closed meeting in the City Council Conference Room of City Hall to

discuss the hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees by a public

governmental body when personal information about the employee is discussed or

recorded pursuant to Section 610.021(3) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, and the

individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or records pertaining to

employees or applicants for employment pursuant to Section 610.021(13) of the Revised

Statutes of Missouri. The motion was seconded by Council Member Peters.

The vote was recorded as follows: VOTING YES: SKALA, PETERS. VOTING NO: NO

ONE.

This item is closed to the public: Closed Meeting in the City Council

Conference Room

At approximately 2:02 p.m., the City Council Subcommittee went into closed session in

in the City Council Conference Room pursuant to RSMo Sections 610.021(3) and (13).

II. ADJOURNMENT

The City Council Subcommittee adjourned the closed meeting at approximately 4:13 p.m.
