I. CALL TO ORDER
Ann Marie Gortmaker called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m.

virtually)
Staff Present: Adam Kruse, Krista Shouse-Jones, Cody Moore
No members of the public appeared in person. Three members of the
public appeared virtually.
II. INTRODUCTIONS
Statement by Chair on Virtual Participation
Ann Marie Gortmaker makes a statement on virtual participation and
reminds members to speak in to the microphone.
III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Commission discussed the agenda.
Joseph Facteau made a motion to approve the agenda. Alexis Simmerman
seconded the motion. All in favor; motion approved.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
DRAFT November 13, 2025 Disabilities Commission Meeting Minutes
Commission discussed the November minutes. The number of members
present in November listed under “Introductions” says 11 but should be
corrected to 12.
Marlee Walz made a motion to approve the minutes as amended. Koda
Inman-Ahlstrom seconded the motion. All in favor; motion approved.
V. SPECIAL ITEMS
CoMo to Zero (Vision Zero) CBB Transportation Engineering & Planning
Consultants will present on their work for the City
Jessica Allen & Kate Hamel, transit planners with HDR Consultants,
appeared virtually and presented to the Commission. The speakers noted
that the agenda was incorrect, CBB is assisting the City with a different
project. The HDR consultants presented to the commission with data of
crashes, death fatalities, locations in the city where these are happening,
and measures that are being taken to prevent the crashes.
Cody Moore, Graphic Artist in the City's Communication Division, to talk to
the Commission about its plan to move forward with the DawnZ Award
Cody Moore introduced herself to the commission as a staff person who
will assist in the graphics and marketing materials for the Dawn Z program
to recognize accessibility in businesses. The Commission discussed
options for marketing, including possibly a video. Cody Moore believed a
video was possible, it would be other city staff involved. Cody Moore talked
about ideas for logos with considerations of wanting it to be recognizable
