I. CALL TO ORDER  
The meeting was called to order at 5:01 PM.

II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA  
A motion was made to amend the agenda to include discussion about the work  
calendar.

III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES  
A motion was made to approve the minutes of the last meeting.

IV. TREE BOARD BUDGET  
The Tree Board discussed purchases and sponsorships for this fiscal year. Scheidt-Hahn  
discussed the new anchor weight requirements for pop up tents at down town events.  
Fritz offered to purchase weights for the tent using Tree Board funds .

V. WORK CALENDAR  
The board discussed staffing upcoming events including the tree wrap and give away, and  
Earth Day Festival. Wright asked that Fritz send an inventory of promotional material to  
the group.  
VI. COMMUNITY FORESTRY GRANT  
Fritz updated the group, reporting that planting had been completed and that final  
reporting remained. He also reported that he was continuing to work on getting water  
installed on site. Once that has occurred, a volunteer training will be held.  
VII. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ORR STREET PARK  
Fritz shared details from Parks and Recreation on the project. The group discussed the  
plan and the need for tree canopy in that area of the City. The board decided that they  
would like more details from the planner on the project.  
VIII. REPORT FROM LIAISON  
Fritz talked about the upcoming emergence of cicadas and the related number of calls  
from the public he had been receiving. He also discussed his seat on the newly formed  
Tree Advisory Committee at MU.  
IX. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF  
None.  
X. NEXT MEETING DATE  
The next meeting will be May 15th. Agenda items will include: the budget and Orr Street  
Park development.  
XI. ADJOURNMENT  
The meeting was adjourned at 6:31 PM.
