Brian Connell made a motion to “Delete the amendment for section 903.2.1.2 and revert
back to the IBC wording”. 2nd by Weber. All agreed.
Section 905.11 was amended in 2021 and reviewed and approved as written in 2021.
1031.2 Exception 5 was reviewed. The amendment language contained R-4 which was
not in the text of IBC. It was discussed why this may or may not be necessary based
on the use group and intentions. Connell made motion to remove the amendment.
Schreiber 2nd. All approved.
1301.1.1 was reviewed. It was decided to remove the amendment wording and
supplement the IBC 2024 text with “as amended” at the end of the statement.
1604.1 was reviewed. Dave Weber mentioned that all of this is now located in ASCE
7 and not needed as an amendment. Weber made motion to delete the amendment.

1803.2 reviewed and approved as written in 2021. It was noted that it was to be in front
of the exception paragraph that is in the 2024 text.
1807.2.2 was discussed and shall be added to the research list with others for BSD.
