I. CALL TO ORDER  
The meeting was called to order by Rose at 7:00 pm.  
II. INTRODUCTIONS  
Present at the start of the meeting were commission members Ritter, Kasmann,  
McIntosh, Rose, Pefferman, and Suhler. McIntosh introduced himself as the newest  
Commission member. City staff Jennifer Deaver, Jacob Amelunke, and Molly Fair were  
also in attendance.

Consolidated Plan Needs Survey Update: Deaver updates Commission on current status  
of survey and its reach to the community.  
Consolidated Plan Update: Deaver reviews Consolidated Plan Meetings, asks  
Commissioners to help spread the word about the upcoming meetings. Commission  
discusses meeting details and possible topics of interest at future meetings.  
VI. SPECIAL ITEMS  
Discussion of Potential RFP vs. Reallocation of Funds: Deaver discusses options for  
reallocating unspent funds or retroactively fully funding under-funded proposals. Deaver  
and Commission discuss concerns such as timeliness and amount of available funds,  
Deaver shares that staff will have more information in the new year.  
VII. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF  
Deaver shares that the Housing Programs Division has hired a new Administrative  
Technician II who will be at the next meeting. She also shares that the HPD office has  
moved to 11 N 7th St and is now under the new City Housing & Neighborhood Services  
Department which will be hiring a new Director.  
Commission asks about Neighborhood Congress meeting on November 16th, 2023.  
Deaver explains participation is voluntary, reminding members of accidentally forming a  
quorum.  
Pefferman offers to share other cities community development projects to Deaver and rest  
of Commission.

January 24th, 2024
