None.
Submarine Updates
Moore reported that she has been in contact with Commander Foster and that he is
working to make arrangements to travel to Columbia the week of the anniversary of the
commissioning, which would be Oct. 9, 2025. The crew would likely travel into Columbia
earlier in the week and stay through the weekend. There is a MU football game against
Alabama that Saturday, Oct. 11.
Dresser is working to confirm the Mayor's availability, and it is possible that she is
unavailable the afternoon of Oct. 9 and through the weekend. Moore stated that the ideal
time for a City reception would be on the anniversary date, Oct. 9, and Dresser stated
that a room in City Hall is available at that time.
As the crew's schedule becomes more finalized and we know more about the Mayor's
availability, details regarding their itinerary and schedule for a reception will be confirmed.
VIII. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF
