I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair, Hinnant-Root called the meeting to order at approximately 6:04 p.m.

II. INTRODUCTIONS
YAC members introduced themselves.
III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion to approve the agenda made by Isabella Shah ,seconded by Jiya Shetty;
motion carried.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
February 13, 2024 YAC minutes.

V. OLD BUSINESS
City Council Meeting - Attendee Updates.
Shuba will attend the March 18th City Council meeting and Langston Schatz- Mitchell
will attend the April 1st.
Helen Hoot shared with members her public speaking comment in favor of the Safe Haven
ordinance.
Youth Summit Planning Committee Updates - Mini Youth Summit proposal.
Mini Youth Summit proposal was accepted by members. Members discussed the
different booths each department from the City will be hosting; also discussed the
interest of having a sustainability table and voters registration table. Liaison’s Kristina
Wolf and Lekel Lyons informed the group that they will help assist with operations and
logistics of Youth Summit.
