I. CALL TO ORDER
The City Council met on May 20, 2024 at approximately 5:00 p.m. in Conference Room
1A/1B of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri.
This item is open to the public: Planning and Zoning Commission
Applicant Interviews
The City Council interviewed Planning and Zoning Commission applicants.
The City Council asked for an inventory of city-owned properties, and agreed to 2:00 p.m.
on June 10 for a revenue work session.
This item is open to the public: Motion for the City Council to go into
closed session to discuss:
- Leasing, purchase or sale of real estate by a public governmental body
where public knowledge of the transaction might adversely affect the legal
consideration therefor pursuant to Section 610.021(2) RSMo.
At approximately 6:04 p.m., Mayor Buffaloe made a motion for the City Council of
the City of Columbia, Missouri, to immediately go into a closed meeting in
Conference Room 1A/1B of City Hall to discuss leasing, purchase or sale of real
estate by a public governmental body where public knowledge of the transaction
might adversely affect the legal consideration therefore pursuant to Section
610.021(2) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. The motion was seconded by
Council Member Meyer.

At approximately 6:05 p.m., the City Council went into closed session in Conference
Room 1A/1B pursuant to RSMo Section 610.021(2).
The City Council adjourned the closed meeting and returned to the open portion of the
meeting at approximately 6:27 p.m.
