IV. CITY TREE FUND
Fritz reported to the group that he had not met with the new director yet. The board
concluded he should be invited to a meeting.
V. WORK CALENDAR
Scheidt-Hahn thought that outreach at Mid-Missouri PrideFest went well. Bybee agreed
but emphasized that the time commitment made it challenging, but the booth set up
helped and was worth the cost. McMains thought there were good interactions and
suggested finding a better way to display and distribute materials. The group discussed
Cloverstock and questioned whether it was worthwhile. Wright said he encountered a
number of people who were looking for volunteer opportunities. He suggested that more
consistent messaging from the board at events would be beneficial and thought an info
card would help. Bybee shared an example of a Missouri Conservation Corps flyer.
Finally the group discussed the Garth/Sexton workday. McMains thought that the board
should acknowledge the donation from Arthur Ratliff Tree and Stump Removal.
VI. REPORT FROM LIAISON
Fritz reported on a North Providence planting project and upcoming tree giveaway. He
then informed the group he hoped to attend the MW International Society of Arboriculture
conference in January.
VII. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF
