I. CALL TO ORDER  
Chair Amanda Hinnant called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.

III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA  
Amanda Hinnant emailed moved to approve the agenda, Paige Lubbering seconded the  
motion, motion was approved unanimously.  
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES  
Draft Minutes from 5/2/2023  
Amanda Hinnant moved to approve the minutes, Diamond Scott seconded the motion,  
the motion passed unanimously.  
V. OLD BUSINESS  
Journey to Inclusive Excellence  
The schedule has been updated, and an outreach subcommittee member is going to  
reach out to see if they can set up a vendor table.  
City Source  
updated the group that there will be a spotlight in the June City Source article  
Brochure-Source of income addition.

VI. NEW BUSINESS  
Juneteenth-HRC participation, preparation, and sign-ups.

Amanda Hinnant moves to buy 200 ice pops for distribution at Juneteenth, Meera Sood  
seconded, the motion passed unanimously.  
Amanda Hinnant moves to buy stickers for distribution at Juneteenth, Astrid Villamil  
seconded, the motion passed unanimously.  
VII. REPORTS  
CPRB  
Cheryl Miller reported the group has been meeting, no chair or vice chair have been voted  
in, and group is still getting to know each other.  
Miller reported CPRB is going to conduct audits.  
Education and Outreach  
PRIDEFEST- (proud level sponsor last year), group wishes to sponsor at same level this  
year

VIII. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF  
D’Andre Thompson introduced himself to HRC, explained his role at City and what his  
position is charged with, as well as what he wants to achieve in his position.  
IX. NEXT MEETING DATE  
Next Meeting- June 27, 2023 5:30 p.m.  
NOTE: July 4, 2023 meeting will be moved to June 27, 2023
