I. CALL TO ORDER  
City Staff Attendance: Aaron Decker  
CEC Commission Attendance: Eric Hempel, Leanne Tippett Mosby, Cherylyn Kelley.  
Meeting was called to order at 4:00pm by Robert Schreiber.  
Introductions were made as 3 persons from the CEC commission were in attendance.  
4 - Brian Connell, Richard Shanker, Jonathan Trunk and Robert Schreiber

II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA  
Motion to approve agenda.  
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES  
Motion to approve minutes.  
IV. OLD BUSINESS  
Continue with remaining content of the Commercial review.  
The remaining significant changes from 2021 and 2024 were resumed as we began  
discussion.  
Section 405.13.1 and 405.13.2 were presented for discussion. Rick Shanker made  
motion to forward these two to the BCCC group for review due to cost impact and  
understanding. Connell 2 nd the motion. All approved.  
406 and 407 were discussed as they were significant changes in the 2021 manual.  
That completed the discussion for Chapter 4.  
Chapter 5 was introduced as existing buidings. The intent of the chapter was presented  
and the following sections were reviewed.  
502 Additions along with which criteria were new for determining what portions are  
required to be in compliance with Chapter 4 when construction is undergone.  
503 Alterations along with the exceptions to the alterations and also which components  
of the alteration trigger compliance with other areas of the building.  
504 Repairs was discussed.  
505 Changes of occupancy were discussed.  
No further motions or discussion upon completion of this portion of the main text.  
Mr. Decker then read the list of appendices with a short descriptive sentence of each  
section. Suggested that these would be a great topic to join forces with CEC on review  
of them after the holidays (January).  
Some discussion about the timing of the meetings and questions related to the  
significant changes book were asked. Richard Shanker made motion to postpone review  
until significant changes were published.  
Connell 2 nd to discuss. Connell reminded that it was important to use the time we have  
to review the material and become familiar with it and the changes that are identifiable.  
Mr. Schrieber mentioned that if changes book is not timely we can revisit to resume as  
needed. Mr. Decker mentioned that he would continue with the notes and changes of the  
residential section in case we wanted to resume.  
Richard Shanker called to question. Connell 2 nd . All approved. Mr. Schrieber called  
for vote on Shanker motion to postpone. All approved
