The Board's duties as set forth in City Cody Section 21-49 include conducting audits or  
reviews of the records of the police department for compliance with Chapter 21 Article  
III requirements. The Board has begun its audits of the 2022 complaints with a focus on  
complaints involving allegations related to search and seizure, use of force and  
discourtesy. Due to the state law, the Board is limited in what information it can provide  
on these audits. Board members will report the number of audits completed.
