I. CALL TO ORDER  
Mayor Pro Tem Andrea Waner called the meeting to order at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Zach Privette spoke first and presented Council Members with a presentation from IAFF  
Local 1055. Don Weaver spoke next regarding CPOA and Andrew Hutchinson spoke last  
regarding 955. In addition, audience member Pierre Whitfield also spoke.  
This item is open to the public: Motion for the City Council to go into  
closed session to discuss:  
- Preparation, including any discussions or work product, on behalf of a  
public governmental body or its representatives for negotiations with  
employee groups pursuant to Section 610.021(9) RSMo.  
At approximately 5:49 p.m., Mayor Pro Tem and Council Member Waner made a  
motion for the City Council of the City of Columbia, Missouri, to immediately go  
into a closed meeting in Conference Room 1A/1B of City Hall, to discuss the  
preparation, including any discussions or work product, on behalf of a public  
governmental body or its representatives for negotiations with employee groups  
pursuant to Section 610.021(9) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. The motion  
was seconded by Council Member Lovelady.

At approximately 5:53 p.m., after those not needed for the closed session left the  
meeting room, the City Council went into closed session in Conference Room 1A/1B  
pursuant to RSMo Section 610.021(9).
