I. CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at approximately 1:00 p.m.

City Staff and County Commissioners Justin Aldred, Janet Thompson and Kip Kendrick

were also in attendance.

Present:

City of Columbia ARPA Process

Stephanie Browning, Public Health and Human Services Director, talked about the City's

ARPA process by summarizing the plan moving forward. There are four areas the City

Council identified as priorities which include a Behavioral Crisis Center, Community

Violence, Homelessness and Workforce Development. Browning then discussed some

key findings from the Community Engagement Process.

Boone County ARPA Process

County Commissioner, Kip Kendrick discussed the County's plans for their ARPA

process which begins with two realms of funding opportunities. The county has allocated

funds. $35 million total. $18 million remaining that would be unappropriated at this point.

Areas of Focus for Collaboration

County Commissioners, City Council and Staff discussed potential areas of focus and/or

projects they could work together and collaborate on.
