I. CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by Rose at 7:00 pm.

II. INTRODUCTIONS

Present at the start of the meeting were commission members Shaw, Fletcher, Ritter,

Kasmann, Willoughby, Rose, and Suhler. City staff Tim Teddy, Jennifer Deaver, Jacob

Amelunke, Darcie Clark, and Molly Fair were also in attendance.

Public Project Requests: The Commission heard proposals for public City projects.

Allison Anderson spoke on behalf of Public Works, requesting funding for the Pershing

Avenue Sidewalk.

Leigh Kottwitz spoke on behalf of Neighborhood Services, requesting funding for code

enforcement.

Jacob Amelunke spoke on behalf of the Housing Programs Division, requesting funding

for the Homeowner Rehabilitation and Energy Efficiency Program.

Jacob Amelunke spoke on behalf of the Housing Programs Division, requesting funding

for the Acquisition and Demolition Program.

Darcie Clark spoke on behalf of the Housing Programs Division, requesting funding for the

Homeownership Assistance Program.

Housing and Community Development Needs Survey Update and Analysis - Survey

Closed - May 10, 2023: Deaver presented a brief summary of the survey responses and

top priority needs. Fair distributed a document containing survey response median and

mode data for any Commissioners that did not receive the document via email. The

Commission discussed the survey responses and possible methods for qualitative data

analysis.

VII. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF

Shaw shared that Project Homeless Connect will be on June 29th, and that sign up is

available online.

VIII. NEXT MEETING DATE

May 24, 2023 - FY2024 and Reallocated HOME & CDBG Agency Funding Requests
